Killin' It.

I leave for San Diego tomorrow morning - pretty sure I have to get up at like 3:30. I always book my tickets under Expedia because I love their app, well I guess I didn't for this trip and I just spent half my morning digging around 5 different emails looking for my confirmation - couldn't find it. Started to panic that I really didn't buy a ticket, had to dig around my bank account to find the charge and call AA. They found me, crisis adverted.

The lightening strike that took out my internet also smoked my fridge so now I have to buy a new fridge, washer, and dryer. Why do appliances always go out at the same time? If anyone has a super awesome {side by side} fridge they LOVE please let me know, research is the worst part #lazy

I will say my Diet Bet {i.e. the summer slim down} {i.e. my cut} is going really well!! I'm feeling fantastic, I'm being super consistent, I'm happy with all the food I've been eating.

I'm obsessed with these protein deep dish cookies from The Macro Experiment! I top them with a little Acrtic Zero and it's the perfect nighttime treat.

Lunch is chicken with tons of veggies and cheese - goat cheese makes my life so good.

Dinner on the go: spaghetti squash {3 poked holes in the microwave for 12 minutes} with sauce, Trader Joes Turkey Meatballs, and duh - cheese.

This dish right here was freaking ahhhhmaizng. Seriously - must try! I spiraled up zucchini, did not cook it, and topped with peas, avocado, and {cooked} shrimp, tomatoes, and Garlic and Basil EVOO from Wishbone

Spaghetti squash, chicken, tomatos, truffle oil, and balsamic glaze, cheese.

I've eaten so many veggies I have carbs left for wine, that makes me happy.
I'm gonna kill this Diet Bet.
We are only a few days in so if you'd like to join come on with it! We also have a private Facebook group - link available on the Diet Bet activity wall.

I'm feeling all kinds of happy and strong at Crossfit - I'm loving it more and more each week. I can't help it, I've been converted and I'm feeling the pull. Seeing how strong I can be is addictive, not just for me but Oliver too. He's been happier and nicer since he started, it's been great for us as a couple.

  7. Samsung stainless steel French door with extra drawer. So much flexibility to fit platters, organize food and easy to clean with my Norwex cloths.

  8. I have the 28cu feet Frigidaire Gallery fridge... french door fridge on top and pull-put freezer on the bottom. We have had it since 2012 and love it!! The only problem I had with it was it is against an outside wall, we live in minnesota and in the in winter, the water line would freeze. We did some re-routing and now it works perfect.

I would recommend it, hands-down! Lots of room!!

  9. I have a Kitchenaid fridge I bought used off of facebook used so I have no idea which one it is that I have. We love it. We haven't had any problems with it. Based on what I know about it, it may be around 10 years old, but it works like a charm. The couple sold it because they bought a bigger fridge. We eat pretty clean/fresh foods and pack the fridge to the brim. It is a great size for us. I'll see if I can find a link similar. Regardless, the Kitchenaid brand for a fridge has really impressed us.
