Progress and Domain NOT FOR SALE!

Y'all were freaking out yesterday when my domain expired- I don't check my 5 different email accounts daily so I missed the renewal. Yikes. I was like - oh well I'll just change my name hahahaha. Alas, that's not really easy to do with all my social media so I furiously got on my phone and figured out how to do it while waiting at the dr office.

Also to my Periscope peeps - I'm straight outta data not even halfway through my cycle. Oliver is not a happy camper about that and it's because of Periscope and our wifi is not strong enough to stream well. Annoying. I looked into Facebook live and from what I can see if you want to really utilize it you have to pay A TON. Livestream was anywhere from 100 to 1200 a month!! No. I'm going to look into a business account or something, we already pay 200 a month for our phones which is redic.

Last year vs now. The difference here is about 10 pounds and I'm 10/12 on the left and a solid 6 on the right. 365 days of tracking my food and consistent workouts focusing on more weight training than cardio. Last January I was coming off marathon training and I changed my focus to lifting more and only running maybe 2x a week, I'm really started to notice a change in my overall shape and less on the scale. The pounds get harder to lose, but you can still be notching away at those inches! I'm excited to see where I can get this next year as I continue to lift. I'm going to finish out this 6 week cut and go back to maintenance calories until closer to summer summer time, then I'll cut again.

Bringing back the goat cheese!

I'm 67% to my Diet Bet goal, but I can tell you those last 2/3 pounds are gonna be tough tough tough.   I had a rough time adjusting to my new lower macros last week and I had to change up my meal planning for less fats. When I get used to my macros I can mentally prepare and know off the top of my head what I can eat, then just adjust serving sizes to hit my numbers perfectly. When they change I get all screwed up and have to log and re-log to get things right, I have to change what I'm eating to ensure I am eating enough to keep me full cause when I get hangry I'm not fun to be around.

I swear a long time ago I tried mixing sugar free pudding with yogurt and hated it so I never tried it again. Well I thought I'd give it a go again and I mixed the Sugar Free Butterscotch with the Salted Caramel Tripe Zero {with a splash of Almond Milk to thin it} and OHHHHHHMYGAWD Y'ALL. Life changing and yummy, plus #oreodust 50 grams of protein at breakfast and it keeps me full for hours and hours!

Then upped popped this image from 5 years ago when I was new to dieting and working out - this was my dinner after an hour or more of bootcamp. I'd go to bed hungry every single night and thought that was the way it had to be to lose weight - man I'm glad I found a better way to eat, workout, and change my body.

Back to work!

  10. I'm a new reader (linked from Tamara Shazam blog) and find your weight loss and maintenance so inspiring. In today's blog, you wrote "...I'm glad I found a better way to eat, workout, and change my body." Is this a reference to IIFYM? I haven't read all your blog entries so wasn't sure if this was your primary method of losing weight or something else.

  11. Hi Meg. I look forward to your posts everyday. Great motivator! I've been on IIFYM for a while and I feel like my macros are not correct. You had someone help you with yours, right? Do they consult other folks, and do it long distance? If yes, may I have their contact information? Thanks!
