All Hands On Deck.

Thanksgiving was great, I opted to not do any cooking this year and just showed up to eat at my Mom's. My siblings never help out and I just had a lot going on with OMB, my Mom and Dad were champs and were fine with cooking the entire meal - maybe my one 'get out of helping' card I had LOL

I ate what I wanted, then I napped, it was glorious!!! We played a few games before my Mom had to work, the boys were watching a movie and Madison was bored so my sister and I took her to Ulta for their Black Friday sale just to get out of the house for a bit.

We came back and played a few more games, I bought Oliver this Scrabble Deluxe Wooden Edition with Rotating Game Board for Christmas years ago and it's been the most used gift I've bought him! He's excited that Madison can play it with him now, she needs help with the words, but she's learning.

1 out of my 2 brothers showed up, the kids love with Uncle Daniel comes to visit - especially Aiden - he was all over him!

Scarf up later to over at OMB.

I didn't do any early BF shopping, I had to monitor my own OMB sale, so we ventured out later in the day for lunch and to see Santa. It rained and rained all weekend, the blanket scarf I wore came in quite handy!

We went to a few stores and I still found some great deals, I even finally found a pair of high tops I liked for Madison!

Can't take this guy anywhere, always trying to photo bomb me. Remember those wine colored booties I didn't buy, I got them on sale so I'm glad I waited!

Madison went to her first Art Party and loved it so much, now she wants her next birthday there. She LOVES to craft and create projects so I think we can swing it for her. I spent most of my Saturday freezing my booty off in the POD packing orders, the heater we tried to use wasn't working so I would stay until my fingers were numb, warm up, and go back out. I am so ready for contraction to be done, progress was 0 last week and seems to be a little slow this week - but I'm not an expert at how these things work.

Sunday we hit up Trader Joes, no riced cauliflower, ughhhhhhhh. Someone told me Wal Mart and Target had some, but I haven't had a chance to go and check it out. Kroger didn't have it, I looked high and low.

Aiden was playing with my car and hit a button and this happened, I had no clue I had a CD player LOL. I've been driving this car for like 2 years now!

We have one billion orders to pack still so it's all hands on deck! I've learned so much going through this first Holiday season, I'll post a whole separate blog about that though.

New arrivals later today, this cute little number will be there! Purse is from Cheerful Hearts!

  2. If you make your own cauliflower rice, do a post about it! I've been toying with the idea of making some.. but haven't ventured down that path yet... :-)

    1. you can use a hand grater-- its a little messy, but gets the job done! I've had bad luck with food processors grating out of control :)

    2. I rice mine in my ninja. Throw the cauliflower in and hit it for 2-5 pulses and it comes out perfect.

  4. I don't think it's a CD player. That's where you put in the CD for updated GPS directions. You have to order them and pay for them and "who wants to do that"? You might double check though, I could be wrong. Have a great day!!

    1. I have a sequoia, and there are two slots. One for cds and another for navigation. The navigation dvds are $150-$200 and update every year. It's pretty worthless if you have a smart phone.

    2. I WONDERED what that other slot was for - it says map LOL

  6. I found the Green Giant Riced cauliflower at the Super Target but it's hit or miss. Also as I find their produce lasts a short time for me regardless of how its packaged, I only buy it when I am going to make it within a few days so it sucks not to be able to stock up. I personally am challenged at ricing it myself and the price of the bag stuff is not that much more then the head of cauliflower there so totally worth it to me.

  7. Target sells cauliflower crumbles in the produce section. Not "riced" but close enough.

  8. HAHAHA! When we bought our car last summer we couldn't find the CD player at all until we fiddled around and stuff started sliding around!

  9. Okay, I don't even know what riced or ricing cauliflower is...Google here I come!! How would we survive without Google...????!! I enjoyed reading your blog and staying caught up with you. I fell off the wagon while off work, away from my gym, and lots of work along with enjoying Thanksgiving. I am finding my motivation now also to get back on track, record, record, record, and keep getting in the gym!!
