Let's Eat More Food!

It's coming up to the end of my cut, I'm ready to start eating more food and doing heavier workouts. I've been feeling a little blah at the gym lately, my knee/calf/IT band injury is really killing my vibe. I've scheduled my boob surgery for Nov 5th and I'm actually looking forward to taking  few weeks off from the gym. I need to let a few areas on my body have a break and then I can come back and be 100% ready to hit it hard.

I will be reversing my calories up slowly of the next 3 weeks until my surgery, then hopefully I will be able to eat around maintenance calories for the weeks I can't workout. Even after my surgery I will be staying at the higher calories and focusing on my weight training, I'm thinking for at least 8 to 10 weeks, that would put me cutting again right after Christmas - perfect! Who wants to be on a calorie deficit during the Holidays?? This is why I love IIFYM so much, you can change your goals and focus on different aspects of losing fat/weight and I'm really happy with the progress I made the last time I did this.

My Advocare haul came in yesterday, I've been without for a week trying to find time to go by and pick it up. This is all stuff I used to get done on my lunch breaks and I'm quite missing those 90 minutes a day when I had a chance to run a few errands. The arginine Extreme is my favorite running supplement - it's caffeine free, but is filled with L- Arg which helps open your blood vessels and give you a boost while you cardio! The Muscle Fuel is a crazy strong pre workout - I only use half a pack before heavy leg days.

I had a good hard run this morning, the temp is just perfect just wish it wouldn't warm up so much during the day. Mostly because I have about 5 adorable jackets in at OMB and I can't wear a one yet! I'm looking forward to running the Michelob Ultra half in 2 weeks, it's been a while since I've run a race and it's good route!

Yesterday my lunch was spent letting this one sit on me and watch Thomas, he was not feeling super great and needed some extra loving. Boy though, whiny toddlers can wear you down with a quickness, I've forgotten what it's like at home with them!

  1. I hope you will keep the blog updated on your post-surgery feels. I've scheduled a boob surgery for early January, and am doing a mini-reverse diet to see where I sit to cut after cutting for a powerlifting meet. Eep! Bodies are so amazing. :)

  3. You look so great. I had my stomach done last November to get rid of a ridiculous amount of loose skin and was surprised at how quickly I recovered. Granted it's not the same as boobs, but I bet you won't be down long. And it kind of changed how I see my body so it was all worth it. You are truly inspiring.

  4. I love reading your blog and seeing your progress and you have got me very interested in IIFYM. Everytime I try and research it I seem to get lost. Do you have maybe 1 or 2 good websites or a great book that could help me wrap my brain around this?

  10. You're really inspiring - not just body-wise, but self-confidence in general, and dressing well, applying makeup, fixing hair - all of it. It all makes you feel better about yourself, improving your attitude. Hope I get to meet you when you come to New Orleans for the marathon! (You're still doing that, right?)
