Blue Apron for Dinner.

Sponsored by Blue Apron.

Dinner time is always interesting around my house, you never know what mood the kids are going to be in, things can go smoothly or you will be sweating and throwing something frozen in the microwave. Blue Apron is a food delivery service that plans your meals, sends you the ingredients, and gives you the recipe. It honestly doesn't get much easier than that folks.

I chose the 2 person meal plan, which runs 9.99 per person, the kids aren't old enough to eat a full portion yet, but if you get the Family Plan it's 8.74 a person.

First 25 readers will get two free meals on their first Blue Apron order - click here

The recipes are WAY out of my normal cooking skills, but I absolutely LOVED that each ingredient was sent to me and premeasured out!! Do you know how much time that saved me?? Lots. So I kissed on the baby.

After washing and chopping the veggies, I followed the super simple instructions and dinner was ready in less than 20 minutes. I was highly impressed with all their ingredients, fresh and flavorful!

I made the Fusilli Con Buco Pasta, click here for the full recipe.

8oz of pasta beefed up with a boat load of summer veggies, all their recipes are between 500 - 700 calories which fits perfectly with what I normally eat for dinner.

Topped with Pecorino Cheese which is a sheep's milk cheese, so delicious!!! I love finding new foods to add to my everyday life!

Kid approved, they both had seconds!

Blue Apron has so many fabulous looking recipes that I'm dying to try - like the Ras El Hanout Chicken Pitas.

and the Black Bean & Red Quinoa Enchiladas!

  3. How did you track your macros? Calorie information is provided with no micro or macro info. Very disappointing.

    1. Very easily calculated in MFP when you weigh your own recipe out.
