I am shamefully non flexible, like it borders on embarrassing. I have longed to be able to fit yoga classes in my life, but after letting the last Groupon I bought expire while never attending a class I gave up. The main reason being that I can't find a class at 5 in the morning and even on weekends the classes start too late for me, I prefer to be done working out by 8:30am.
I was contacted by The Yoga Collective to try their online classes and I immediately said yes, this is exactly what I needed!
They offer so many different classes, all levels and types of yoga, and what I really loved - short or long depending on how much time I have to fit it in! Madison of course wanted to try it out with me, so I put on a 10 minute hip stretching class.
We played it on the iPad and streamed it through the TV - gotta love technology!
It was very easy to follow and I'm very much a beginner, Madison on the other hand was hitting those poses like a champ. I love how in to it she was, I can't be letting my 6 year old show me up, I have some work to do for sure. As much as I workout I honestly need to be stretching every single day and I'm pumped about this membership!
I even pulled one up to do after my workout, I'm excited to add in some of the abs videos because I've been focusing on them lately to help with my running.
The material on the Cozy Orange workout gear is on point, so soft, and I love a top that doesn't roll up - nothing more annoying except pants that fall down.
The Yoga Collective offers a free trial if you'd like to give it a shot, they also are giving away TWO year memberships!
The giveaway runs through May 8th - good luck!

I took Yoga my freshman year of college and loved it! As a new mom I would love to do this without having to commit to a specific class time!
ReplyDeleteI have never tried yoga but would love to!
ReplyDeleteI need to get back into yoga. I find the older I get the less flexible I am.
ReplyDeleteI am not flexible at all either! i would love to try this!
ReplyDeleteI have tried it and do love it!!
ReplyDeleteI need to stretch more as well!
ReplyDeleteI love yoga and go to a class once per week. I would love to have a class several times a week from home!!
ReplyDeleteI really want to get into yoga. I need to stretch more and I've only heard good results from my running friends that have incorporated it into their routine. My problem was similar....no classes during my window of gym time. Plus I couldn't find any yoga DVDs that I really liked.
ReplyDeleteI did yoga as part of the P90x3 program and I really enjoyed it. I also have taken a few classes at my local YMCA but like you Meg I have had a hard time fitting classes into my 2 kids, husband, working mom schedule.
ReplyDeleteI have never tried yoga but would too! Thanks for this chance! :)
ReplyDeleteNever been much a yoga person but would love to find things that will open my hips up! They get pretty tight a lot, especially when doing lunges, squats, etc!
ReplyDeleteThanks for this!
I took a youga class that was offered at the local community center about 5-6 years ago. I LOVED it! I would love to get back into it bc after having 2 BIG babies, I could use the streching especially in my hips.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try this!
ReplyDeleteI have never taken yoga. I would love to try it.
ReplyDeletedon't know if my comment posted -- i use an app, and love yoga. now that i'm working through an injury, i'd like to get more focused in my approach.
ReplyDeleteI have tried getting in to yoga a few times and decided I just wasn't "zen" enough for it. One of my friends who loves yoga told me that I need to give it a try because no one is "zen" when they first start...that it comes with practicing. I really do want to give it another try.
ReplyDeleteOMG...this would be AWESOME!!! I too would love to start incorporating yoga into my fitness routine, but, unfortunately, living in a VERY small town, there are no classes anywhere close to me. And with two kids, it is hard to find the chance to travel to one....
ReplyDeleteI love yoga, but the only classes I can go to aren't convenient times right now. Saturday mornings are at 8:00, but my 5 month old is usually wanting to nurse at about 7:30, so I won't make it in time. And I have to pick the kids up at night, so the classes after work aren't working out at this stage. Once I"m done nursing it'll be easier to fit them in, but this looks like it would be a good fix for me.
ReplyDeleteI have tried regular yoga and hot yoga and it is just too slow for me.

Love, love, love yoga!! Nothing better than doing it in the comfort of your own home!
ReplyDeleteWould love to try it with my 7 year old!!
ReplyDeleteLove the workout clothes they look so comfy and cute! But would really like to try the yoga!
ReplyDeleteI actually started doing yoga for the first time in February and my mobility has improved so much because of it! I actually call it my YouTube Yoga date because it's too easy to just stream it through the TV, like you I can't find classes that fit with my schedule. Even my chiro has commented on how much better my mobility is. Keep it up! Ester from Ekhart Yoga youtube channel is my homegirl.
ReplyDeleteLove yoga! Practice almost daily. It's calming and helps with not yelling at the little people (that don't listen) of the house all the time.
ReplyDeleteI tried yoga once when I was in high school and sat in the back giggling with a friend because we had no idea what we were doing...and we were both scared we were going to fart :/ So I never went back. I'm not flexible. Like at all. I've always wish I could try it and start with a good beginner's class, but all the yoga studios are just too darn expensive. So until I hit it big in the lottery, I'm just going to keep on keeping on with my normal gym membership. :)
ReplyDeleteThis might be a first...I think that Blogger might actually let me leave you a comment!!! Yoga is fun and I need the relaxation it could bring to my mind.
ReplyDeleteI never realized how much yoga/stretching helps with running.. But it makes you feel so much better after :)
ReplyDeleteI really need to work on flexibility and balance/stability, I definitely need yoga in my life!
ReplyDeleteI love yoga, but I am totally with you - the class times ALWAYS suck. I mean, if I were a SAHM with kids in school all day, it would work. Alas, not the case!

ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! I'm often so afraid to try yoga classes because I'm not only the least flexible person I know, I'm also the most uncoordinated.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to practice in the privacy of my living room.

ReplyDeleteI do enjoy yoga - I have done P90X3 yoga and some Jillian workouts with Yoga. I also did a nice relaxed class on fitness on demand that I enjoyed. It is a great way to relax, stretch, and think. I need to get back into it more.

ReplyDeleteI just recently started yoga for a natural way to reduce my severe anxiety & to get my flexibility back. I have yet to find a "program" that I like, so this would be awesome to win!
ReplyDeleteI love yoga! This would be so great!
ReplyDeleteThis would be great!!
ReplyDeleteI love yoga. The only time I can fully turn my mind off and breath 😊😊😊

ReplyDeleteI **want** to love Yoga but I am having trouble finding a studio that understands that not everyone walks in the door a ready to go, bendy, flexy Yogi! I also have found most local studios only have class during working hours (somehow I don't think "attending yoga class" qualifies as a reason o be late or leave early)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the review of Yoga Collective and the chance to win!
