Exciting News from Stitch Fix and Giveaway!

Last summer when I first joined a running group there were two women who constantly were talking about their Stitch Fixes, how they got clothes in the mail that they normally wouldn't wear, but somehow looked perfect on them. I was intrigued, we all know my passion for a good outfit :) I try to push myself out of my comfort zone on a regular basis, just to keep my options fresh and current.

I spent a lunch hour at work one day filling out my profile and I'm getting my first Fix soon! I'm excited to see what someone else would pick for my body type and personality.

Today even more good news for you ladies - they are now offering Stitch Fixes for Petites and Maternity! When I was pregnant I was SO OVER all the same clothing, leggings and tunics pretty much every day for 9 months, I would've LOVED to have new stuff being sent to my door every month.

  1. In the style profile, you can now add your due date which helps your stylist find you perfect pieces for each trimester throughout your pregnancy. If you already have an account just update your profile with your due date (if applicable!)
  2. Be sure to let your Stylist know what you're looking for.
  3. Your Stylist will have it covered!
  1. Petite clothing is made to fit smaller frames. If you're 5.3 and under, you may prefer the fit of the new petite sizing.
  2. Petite is defined as: shorter inseams, shorter arm lengths and narrower shoulders.
  3. Not to be confused with XS! Petite clothing is about inseams, lengths and cut.
  4. Update your profile to request petite sizing.
I've discussed before how, even though I'm 5,4.5 a lot of time petite pants fit me better. I think it's because I prefer flats to heels and I have short legs, I'm going to probably update my profile for petite size pants.

Stitch Fix is offering a $50 credit to one lucky reader - you have until Friday the 13th to enter!

**Although this post is sponsored, all opinions are my own.

  1. Would love love to win this as I am almost 23 weeks pregnant with our rainbow baby boy! :) Thanks for doing this!

  2. I received my first Fix on Friday and was little disappointed. But I have heard it can tak a few boxes to work out the kinks. I've got high hopes for next month!

  3. I love stitch fix !! I bet you are going to love it. The way I see it, you can't go wrong with a personal shopping assistant. Lovely giveaway :)

  4. What are the prices like for Stitch Fix? I just signed up, but would like to know what to expect as far as pieces/pricing? I am sure it varies, but any info/knowledge would be helpful. Thanks!

    1. $50 or more for shirts, $65 or more for pants, $35 for jewelry which isn't bad.

    2. Okay, thanks for the info again. I will likely get one shipment and cancel. I really hate to shop and pick things out because I can't seem to break my routine on style, colors, etc. - so we will see how this one goes.

  5. I have received about 5 fixes - every time I purchase an overpriced item, the fabric rips. The stuff is of the same quality as tj maxx!

    1. Interesting...good to know. I don't typically pay over $50 for any piece of clothing, less it may be jeans or shoes of course. I normally hit the sales and clearance racks at Macy's. I have never shopped at TJ Maxx...but they are kind of like a store for discontinued merchandise or leftovers, aren't they?

    2. Yes - And that's the quality of clothing I have purchased from Stitch. Every item I purchased was over $60. I do have one more fix coming, but I'm sure it will be my last.

  6. i've been debating on getting a stitch fix for a few months...i would LOVE to have someone pick out stuff for me :) i get stuck wearing the same styles!

    1. The problem is, they don't hit the nail on the head all the way. I read lots of blogs of people reviewing their fix's and this is the consensus.

Make my day and leave me a love note!
