Spray Tans and Meal Plans

Having two kids can really cut back on your free time, so in an effort to save myself some time AND money I bought an at home Maxi-Mist Lite Sunless Spray Tanning Kit from Amazon. Oliver agreed to spray me, probably just so he can see me naked :)

The tent is HUGE and I'm not gonna lie, it was REAL scary letting Oliver spray me, he's NEVER had a spray tan so he has no clue how the machine even does it. I didn't use the solution that came with the machine, I bought Fake Bake Airbrush Tanning Solution after reading some reviews online. It came out SUPER dark at first and Oliver freaked that I was zebra striped on my back so we wet wiped it off and started again getting a more even coverage. The 'bronzer' is pretty dark and rubs off really easily so sitting around for 4-6 hours in it can be a pain, I suggest doing it before you go to bed. When I showered though the color was very natural and pretty, no streaks! I may even was something a tad darker though. The main thing I learned was that even if the bronzer is darker in spots the tan underneath comes out very even so don't freak out. Oliver asks if he can tell me something without me getting pissed - I told him probably not, but tell me anyways. He said well you have a crease on your back that's white, OK Oliver - thanks for telling me I have some back fat like I didn't know. #breastfeedingproblems #boobsfordays

This was my tan when I woke up, it did lighten a bit after my shower. Outfit is Old Navy - I got sucked into 40% off when I was exchanging some pants.

I squeezed in some meal prepping Sunday. Washed and pulled grapes and cut up some Honeydew, I make a bowl big enough for the week and just keep it at work. I cooked the Spaghetti Squash and Sweet Potatoes together at 450 for 45 minutes and threw some chicken breast in the crock-pot for a few hours and the shredded it up. The squash with some shredded chicken and a little marinara sauce heats up really well for a quick lunch!
The top right is my breakfast - Cottage Cheese Waffles and strawberries with a mixture of greek yogurt and honey for toppings, I bring enough for 3 days. I also boiled eggs, I've been eating one of those and a string cheese with my Spark before my 5am gym sessions.

It took me around 30 minutes to get this done, just long enough for Aiden to get some upright time in his bouncer, I'm not even exaggerating, you should see this kids leg muscles! Hard to believe he's barely 12 weeks!

My sweet princess had her very first dance recital and she did fantastic! No shyness in this kid! This last year I had her in a ballet/tap class, but in the Fall I've signed her up for mini hip-hop just to try something new, plus she's always down with a good beat :)

  2. My niece had her recital this weekend too - I saw so many pictures of little girls in tutu's and outfits over the weekend. My niece is the same way, no fear! It's hard to believe...I did one recital when I was 4 or 5 and I was the dingleberry who stood there and cried.

  4. That cabbage patch wig made me giggle. You look amazing for your little only being 12 weeks. That Old Navy keeps tempting me with the sales emails. I actually have to delete them and not open them or I will go broke. Momma needs new clothes.

  8. How long do you leave Aiden in the jumper? I've been wondering if I could put my 12 weeker in one yet and couldn't decide. He has pretty good head control and basically sits in my lap upright anyways.

Love the workout outfit btw :)

  13. I absolutely LOVE your confidence! I have an 8 week old and wish that I could be even half as confident as you! I'm starting Couch 2 5k plan tonight. I am also going to try to work on getting my eating in check---it's BAD! You are such an inspiration and motivator for me! I hope one day I can wear confidence as well as you do! :)
