My Go-To Hair Tutorials

Wow, this is my 5th post for the week, apparently I'm on a roll! You're welcome :)

I've been growing my hair out for a year now, it started when I got pregnant in a effort to hide any 'fat face' I usually get from pregnancy {got lucky this time it just went to my thighs!}.  I've had a couple of rough patches where I really wanted to cut it shorter again, it's just a lot of work keeping it below my shoulders. I work out 6 days a week which means 6 days of blow drying and 6 days of curling, etc. It's a pain - especially on arm day!

In an effort to embrace my longer locks I've been watching tutorials on hair do's while I pump at work and then give 'em a go the next day. Braids are AMAZING in dirty hair BTW - here are a few of my favorites!

This pretty one takes a ton of bobby pins, but it's worth it!

Just a super easy bun and braid - I got a lot of compliments on this one!

 1. Beachy Wave with a flat iron
2. Brady Band with a half braid
3. All the braids! This one is the waterfall - needs some practice :)
4. Twist with a messy bun

French side braid {wasn't too hard!} with a pony.

Products I swear by:

Hana One Inch Flat Iron
AQUAGE Uplifting Foam
Kenra 25 Hairspray - SUPER VOLUME
HOT TOOLS Ceramic Titanium 1 1/2 inch

When all else fails - get you a cute hat!

  2. I just started using Kenra 25 and LOVE it! I'm trying the Aquage once I run out of my current product. I'm so glad I clicked your IG tag for the small things hair tutorials a couple weeks ago! I've been getting so many compliments!

  3. I usually hate my hair anyway but down, but these are really cute. I'm going to have to start practicing some new styles in the evenings and seeing how they turn out.

  8. Super cute. I need to try something with my hair other than blow drying and straightening. I just never have the energy in the morning.

  9. I don't ever wash my hair every day so I do a lot of high buns and braids... It's also good for your hair to stay a little more oily...

  10. Love your hair in all the pics!! I commend you for taking the time to look your best, especially after just having a baby! My kids are 12 and 8 and most days I prefer to sleep in rather than curl my hair--so it's ponytails for days:)
