Losing It Tuesday's.

This is not a before and after, more like a then a now. Then was 3 months after Madison, now is 2 months after Aiden. I have to keep telling myself I'm ahead of the game when I don't feel like it's working. Those people who claim that post baby bodies aren't a true 'before' are crazy, ain't no weight just falling off here, it's all true hard work! No matter HOW you gained the weight, if you are putting in the same amount of work and effort it's all weight loss. It's all fat even if you had to gain it to bring a cute baby into the world. In fact I would say it's HARDER to lose baby weight, before I got married I lost 50 pounds by eating semi {frozen foods} healthy and hitting the gym inconsistently, now I work twice as hard on my fitness and my food and it's all for almost nada. I just keep trucking along, it will come.

I'm feeling stronger everyday, so I'm back to the good old Megan coming up with fun stuff for us to do at 5am :)  IG is full of fun exercise videos to try new things!

I'm having a hard time getting back into my running, ugh. It's just HARDER with the extra weight and in my head I'm still a 9 min mile and in reality I'm an 11. That's not BAD, but it can be frustrating knowing what your body CAN do. I  think part of it is I  miss running with my friends. I like them and I like running with them, I miss the motivation I got from group running. Also try running with boobies full of milk, yikes.

I'm also finding all sorts of good stuff to make through Instagram! These Clean Reese's Cups turned out great! I subbed PB2 and used Advocare Shakes, they were fast to make which I really liked, instant gratification!

I also did something a little drastic...

I sold a bunch of my clothes. I was just going to get rid of maternity since my baby making days are over, but it was just depressing to pull out all these skinny clothes and not be able to fit in most of them so I sold them. I need to have things that fit me NOW, I go back to work at the end of the month, plus half the fun of losing weight is shopping. Right?! As I shrink I'll just continue the cycle, Oliver was happy to have light in the closet :)

  5. You look amazing for only being 2 months out! Awesome job. And I really need my gym to get some bosus in the weight room so I can try some of these exercises. They have them in the class room but the Silver Sneakers are always in there on my lunch break lol

  6. You are looking amazing and I feel you on how hard you have to work. It seemed easier or faster in my mid 20s when I first started my journey but now at 30 its a struggle just to lose 5 lbs. Or maintain. But its all worth it in the end. Im not going back so I gotta keep struggling along. Just keep pushing fwd megan! You're doing great and you are a big inspiration! :)

  7. I love how honest you are about everything. I am totally having the same issues (not post baby weight those days are long gone) but I have been losing and gaining the same 5 pounds for a year. I just keep trying but it is so darn frustrating!! and now after having surgery 3 months ago it seems even harder. ugh! But you are looking great and like you I will just do it and keep trying.

  12. You are doing great! I had baby #3 nine months ago and I'm figuring out how to lose the last 15 lbs-what worked before isn't working now and I'm experimenting with eating differently, different exercise. It will come, it will come....for both of us :) Just keep trucking along. I see a big difference in your pictures over the past couple of weeks :)

  13. I so agree the baby weight was soooo much harder than loosing the 60 lbs I had lost before I had Millie I just now got the 70 I gained with her off and she's 21 months. You're doing great and such an inspiration
