35 Week Bumpdate

This was 35 weeks with Madison and with Adien, whenever I start to feel down about my body I love to look at this kind of stuff. It could always be worse :) We are down to the last 3 weeks so I'm really trying to get everything in order at work for when I'm gone, I'm taking 12 weeks and I may just do some of my regular monthly projects at home rather than hand them over.  It's stuff I can do easily while he naps so it shouldn't be a problem.

I've been foam rolling my hips and back out before bed, I toss and turn and lot now. I also wake up at 2 am no longer tired and a little hungry. THAT'S fun :( Here's a good video if you don't know how to use one. My foam roller was a cheapie off Amazon. I'm also working on my after baby items, I bought a sleep nursing bra {they are way to big to go without when I'm nursing}, a nursing tank from Zuliliy {uh, those things are crazy expensive I got one for 10 bucks!}, and a Bellefit Corset Girdle. I didn't use one after Madison {the one from the hospital was uncomfortable to sit in}, but I think it will help my csection recovery by giving me more support.

Saturday I had a girls day with Madison, we shopped at Gymboree and found the cutest spring outfits. I NEED this blue/hot pink combo in my life! We got her a cut at Sweet and Sassy which made her look old :( Then we hit the nail salon for some Valentines Day Pedi's.

Nothing beats some pink and red toes! She's lucky she's getting a brother, Momma can't afford pedi's for 3, yikes.

Sunday I finally got around to sorting all those clothes and I totally forgot that we had to buy a preemie outfit for her to go home in, she was on 5 pounds and 5 ounces, I kinda want to cry! I'm pretty sure Aiden won't be that small, only 23 days until we find out!!

  2. Keep some of her little clothes for her to put on babydolls! My 12 year old girl still has some of her dolls and her old clothes. She refuses to get rid of them!

  4. I love her haircut! So adorable!!! You are making me want a girl so bad. I have one boy and love being a boy mom and little boys are SO sweet to their mamas. But, a little girl to take shopping and get pedicures with, I would love that!! And I would be broke- lol!!

  5. Girl! You look fabulous! Don't ever get down about your body! I got humungo with my little man...and it showed so bad in my face...your face is so lean looking still! Plus...your little guy is a miracle that you worked so hard for so embrace it all! Also...you are in such better shape this time around that the weight will come off so much easier...you'll see! Luck to you all for the transitions to come <3

  6. Y'all are the cutest, and girl's days are so fun! I will definitely have to watch that video because I'm pretty sure a foam roller will help with my hip issues from running longer distances. Wow, only 23 days left?!?!? It'll go by quick (hopefully!).

  7. You look great! FYI, Target online has great deals on nursing cami's. Check it out. They rock! I like them for under my shirts because then my sides and stomach don't show when I am nursing in public.

  8. Wow 5'5 is small! Was she a preemie/early? I had my twins at exactly 37 weeks and one was 5'7 and the other 5'15 - must have been all those milk shakes while on bedrest ;) Good luck mama!

  13. My mother bought me a girdle after the birth of my first child. She had children in the early 60's and I think it was commonplace to wear a girdle to help "hold your stomach in until your muscles regained their place". I wore it after the birth of the next two as well. Maybe there is some truth to that? It sure makes one feel better about that jiggly tummy.

  15. I agree with Mariposa - your face looks awesome. I (like her) get the "fat face" syndrome, and while it is still not as big this time as my other two pregnancies, It is definitely getting the chub-factor. But lately I've been putting together several comparison photos as well to help me feel better. And it does. So you are right, "it could be worse". :) Almost there!
