Workout Selfies. W.O.W #27

Welcome back to Workout Wednesday!
You know the drill, grab a button and link up for the parrrrrrty!

Let's talk about something very important. The workout selfie.
Sure they seem vain.

For me they have served a very important purpose, progress. I look at myself everyday and sometimes it's hard to see where you have come, comparing two pictures is a great way to stay motivated.

After I did the cleanse.
Get you a full length mirror, figure out how to take a decent pic with your phone {love the Camera+ App} and document your hard work.

You're only vain if you share them all over the internet.

Enough of me.

Be sure to stop by and check out Brittany's post on marathon training, great advice!

Got Kettlebell's? Then you should totally do this workout of Amy's and report back ASAP.

  2. I have a love/hate relationship with the scale. Taking pictures along with measurements have helped me see my progress when the scale will just not budge! I also love seeing other's before and afters because they are so motivating!!

  5. I love the workout selfies when the person just kind of walks around the gym and photographs themselves near equipment but not actually working out. I see people at my gym who do that and wonder why they put forth the effort to go to the gym.

  7. Excellent point re: selfies. Must remember that. Awkward at first, but hella glad I started taking them.

  8. SkinnyMeg, help! I am trying so hard to join your linky party, and it's just not working! I copied and pasted the "button" html code into the entry, but it's only showing up as the code, not the pretty picture. :) Am I doing something wrong? I even tried switching it to html as I composed the entry!

Sorry to be ridiculous, I'm so new to blogging (and weight loss!) that I'm like the silly little sister trying to tag along!

  9. You look amazing! And can I just say, I love this post! It feels like some people only go to the gym for that ever important selfie ;). Yours give me motivation to get off the couch!
