Fall Fashion {Non Pegnancy}

I have something fun for you gals today, a little fall fashion! I'm sure SOME of you are sick of all my pregnancy clothes, so I asked Tawny to put together a post for you non-preggos. This girl knows how to dress, I kinda want to go shopping after reading this. Her shoes, love.

Heeeey! I have to say thank you to Skinny Meg for letting me come hang out with the cool kids! Holla! I’m Tawny and I blog over at Glamorously Mommy. I blog about beauty, plus size fashion and my kids. My motto is Keeping the Glamor in Mommyhood!

Because we all know, ain’t nothing glamorous when you're cleaning up puke, ok?

Can I get an Amen? Thank you.

Ok ladies, today we are talking all about plus size fall fashion. I will admit the fashion that comes along with the cooler months can be intimidating. Cooler weather means more layers, more layers can mean bulky looking clothing. Well ladies, I have a solution.

First, have the proper undergarments. It’s a MUST.
Spanx will be your best friend. ( They will keep you warm as well) Also, invest in a great bra that holds up the girls. There is nothing worse than saggy girls. I recommend Caquice bras from Lane Bryant.
Ahem… yes, I’m talking to you. Get EM up, girl!

The second tip is you want to keep a good balance between tailored and baggy. Meaning choose either a baggy top or baggy bottoms. Not both. If you try and do both you will just end up looking sloppy. Now that that’s out of the way, let’s get into the goods. Today, we are talking about Plus Size Fall Fashion. I’m going to take you through 3 outfits. I would like to say I walked around in heels and designer dresses; however that's just NOT practical. I’m a mom and I need to be able to chase kids and move freely. This first outfit is great for everyday. I have paired this lightweight taupe & navy striped sweater over a tank top and my favorite jeans ever... Hydraulic Jeans. This look is perfect for those slightly crisp mornings and warm afternoons. PS Fall Fashion

The next outfit is great for date night or girls night! I'm a sucker for a black blazer. I took this black blazer, added a this stunning sequined tank, paired it with my favorite pair of skinny jeans, and threw on some nude heels. Mama's looking HOT for a night out.

This is a something I would wear to church. I'm not much of a dress girl, but I just LOVED this chevron ikat pattern. I took this dress and paired it with some leggings, and tall cognac boots. This look just says Fall. This dress would also be great for summer.

Alright, that's all I have today. Thank you again Skinny Meg for letting me come hang out, and thank YOU for reading! I hope if you have a chance you will come over to Glamorously Mommy and visit. I have two AMAZING giveaways going on right now that you will love. One may include one of the items featured in this post.

  4. Thanks for posting this. I've been looking for good plus size blogs. While I'm trying to lose weight, I still want to look good. I find if I hide behind over-sized clothing and frumpy stuff, I just feel even worse about everything.
