Bumpdate Week 14

I know my lemon looks crazy, I'm no artist by any stretch of the imagination. The top right corner is a picture Twilight Sparkle drew for the baby :) These weekly boards are hard to keep up with I think I may start switching to every other week until the third trimester. I would say my most persistent symptom is being tired, I used to be a morning person now it's a chore to drag myself out of bed. I've been having such vivid dreams that I don't even feel like I'm in a deep sleep some of the time! I still have a hard time enjoying coffee so that may play a role, I used to look forward to getting up and having my alone/coffee time.

Friday I  caught a cold and not being able to take anything blows. I usually take Elderberry Syrup, but I need to do some research if that's safe or not. I do what I usually do, I tried to sweat it out at the gym. Saturday I did Step/Turbo and felt better afterwards, but Sunday Oliver and I got up at 5am {again!} to go run and it really cleared out my sinuses!

I was so proud of Oliver he ran the entire lake, 9.5 miles, his first time ever and I told him he could be in the 'running' club now :)  I ran 11.5 because I kept going when I saw he wasn't at the car, I didn't realize he was behind me the entire time! I'm happy to report no stomach problems this week. I'm ready for my Fort to Fitness half Sep 28th! We are doing a 10k next weekend at the lake with a party at the Arboretum afterwards, I'm really hoping it cools down soon. It sucks having to wake up so early every weekend to beat the heat for a run.

Twilight Sparkle had her first soccer game Saturday.

I could just eat up her fat cheeks, she played really well! She listened to the coach and tried her best.

The other team was a year older and it showed, faster and actually played like a team. Our girls would get frustrated when they just couldn't run as fast, but it's all about practice and learning at this age. I won't lie, I totes was THAT Mom yelling on the sidelines :)

I also HAD to order her this outfit from Amazon and she wore it all day on Sunday. To lunch. To the grocery. Hahahaha. You're only young once!

  16. I am SO impressed with your workout regiment while pregnant. I think it's awesome you're still running and lifting, just at a pace that makes sense. Every time I don't feel like working out these days, I go read your workout posts and am like "dude, Skinny/Preg Meg is whipping your butt, get UP!" Keep it up girl, that baby will be running half marathons with you one of these days!

  17. Twilight Sparkle is amazing. Just amazing. As is your baby bump.

ps I had no idea you called her twilight sparkle because of My Little Ponies. (That IS why, right?) My 5 year old is obsessed with MLP and I watched it with him the other day and was like Twilight Sparkle, I know that girl!
