Workout Wednesday #7

Welcome back to Workout Wednesday!

I love this chest and tricep set from Jamie Eason Livefit that The Coily Bombshell shared!

I also love a good ab blast, like this one from Meagan Patricia {I'll even forgive her for spelling our name wrong}!

Samantha is traning for a half in September, but she's not letting that stop her from strength training, she shared some great YouTube videos! Be sure to stop by and check them out at 24 to 30.

Todays workout is meant to be paired with 10 {or the heaviest you can manage} pound dumbells. You will work all your muscles and get a little cardio in for some fat blasting!

I did 3 rounds of this, then loaded up a bar for some legs {to a perfect booty song!}.

Then I finished it off with 20 minutes of cardio sprints. Higher intensity cardio is better for blasting fat than lower intensity for a longer amount of time!

  8. Great workout!!!! Can't wait to try it.....quick question....what do you put the treadmill on exactly for cardio sprints-the 20minutes you did at the end? I agree that higher intensity for a shorter time is more effective....just not sure how to do this?! Thanks so much for sharing!!

  10. I started toning up the most when I started doing Jamie Eason's program, before I got a personal trainer. I'm so glad you do some of her workouts!! Her story is so inspirational!!

  11. Awesome round-up! The tricep exercises in the first one make me clammy. I have so much trouble getting the full extension up to keep my upper arm close to my face. Need to work on that!

    Last week I saw on here about using a body bar for squats and I loved it! Less intimidating than a old rusty weight bar for beginners ;)

  12. The entire 12 week live fit trainer with Jamie Eason is amazing! It's amazing for people who are just starting to lift weights and work out! I had never lifted weights before and did this program and it was awesome! Starts of easy then as you get better and stronger it gets a little harder! I recomend watching her videos and reading all the stuff! Tons of great info!!

  13. Did the 10 pound workout tomorrow and it was AWESOME! Love how I'm starting to bring my "Skinny Meg" post-its with me to the gym! :)
