Photo Dump Friday

{{Happy Dance}} It's Friiiiiiday!  Today is a random picture phone dump. You're welcome.

I had a ton of people ask about my workout top from Wednesdays post. It's from Kohl's 2 years ago, but I saw these on my lunch break at Target. Champion brand.

Twilight Sparkle strips off her human clothes and puts on her princess clothes every day when she walks in the door.
I no longer have any nightgowns.

I'm obsessed with these ruffled slips from Three Birds Nest, they are so pretty and feminine!

Went and had my tubes checked. All clear. It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would, but the nurse said that's because I've already had a kid. You know things pale in comparison to child birth, or parts are just numb now, whichever.

You lay on a table while they start it off like a pap smear, then they insert a catheter and inflate a balloon in your uterues. Yeah, that's what kinda hurts, but it's so when they push though the contrast it doesn't leak back out. Then they x-ray your parts to make sure the tubes are doing their job.
I hear you have a good chance of getting knocked up after this, but I'm not holding my breath :)

Oliver begged to go to dinner. fineeeee, twist my arm not to cook :) I love me some gourmet pizza, spinach, grilled chicken, Roma tomatoes, feta, on whole wheat. Yes and yes.

When I picked her up yesterday the first thing she told me was "look Momma I'm wearing CHEVRON"

HAPPY FRIDAY!

  2. Meg, question unrelated to the adorable kid in chevron....loved your post on bras...I was also quite busty until I lost 80 lbs and now we call them "sport for husband' as he has to chase them as if they were raw eggs in a bowl...sigh....anyway, I have found a few really great bras that work in real life AND exercise, but they all have the traditional two straps. I would like to find a razor back bra so my cute workout tops (and cute back) would look less 45 years old than it does with aforementioned bra. BUT, it has to be uber supportive, so the eggs don't get away from me...and it would also be nice if they looked like 2 eggs instead of one...Any ideas on that??? I'll try to check back here for an answer, but if you could send to email, too, I sure would appreciate it. (cacoulson@hotmail.com) Thank you for your awesome motivation!!

  4. P.S. The pizza looks delicious! Wishing you much luck on getting pregnant. Maybe take an overnight tubing trip down the river with just you and your husband and enjoy some wild abandon. We ended up pregnant with twins after we did that. :)

  9. My first HSG was so amazingly painful I was shaking on the table. No one told me it hurt worse if you haven't had a child. I didn't get pregnant after the test but it's different for everyone. Crossing fingers and toes for you!!

  16. That picture of "Twilight Sparkle" cracks me up! I love it and I don't even know her!
Also, thanks for the slip tip. I bought one too and love it (though I think yours is cuter and I may have to buy another). I have so many dresses that are too short, especially for work. The slip is perfect and adorable!
    Sending babydust your way!

  19. Yay for clear tubes!! Also, I'm so glad it wasn't as painful as I warned you about...lucky! I really am so glad to hear it went well. Twilight Sparkle is adorable in her Princess clothes and her chevron. I used to steal my Nana's nightgowns when I was little, so that brought back fond memories for me :) Have a happy Friday and a great weekend!

  28. Just wanted to tell you that I just discovered your blog recently and find it so interesting and so so honest and inspiring. I was a really chubby teenager and then went from 190 pounds to a 84 and was hospitalized with Anorexia on and off for almost two years. I think my weight stabilized around 140 or whatnot, who knows, I stopped weighing myself...but this past year it started creeping up a bit, probably to 160. I set my mind to it and with mindful eating, working out I am now back to 140ish.

Now that I want to maintain the weight healthy, I found your blog and realized I need to step up the weight training. So I started last weekend to really step that up. :) Thanks for the inspiration. I want to built muscle so I can EAT MORE and don't feel so restricted! :)
