Non-Baby Situation and Baby Diva's

Started off my weekend back at the Dr., again. It actually went better this time than the last few times, I got to see the PA and she actually LISTENED to me when I told her what was going on with my cycle. She said it sounded like a luteal phase defect, WHICH IS WHAT I SAID FROM THE VERY FIRST DAY. ugh. FINALLY she gave me progesterone and we will see how it helps next month, I am still staying on the clomid though just to try to move it up a bit.

I know I don't talk on here much about my non-baby situation, but I just know there are women out there going through much worse than this and I don't feel comfortable always complaining about it.
Not to say it's not difficult, the mood swings, the frustration, it's not fun.
And I'm not going to lie and say I won't bitch once I am pregnant :)
Sorry, but true.

My BFF's Mom {Mimi2} had a 'cookie party' for the toddlers, which was so much fun!

These girls have been friends since they were babies.
I named them Baby Diva's :)

Year 1

Year 2

The kids aren't the only ones who got cuter, right ladies??

I can only assume at this rate we will be MILF's when we hit 40!

Happy Monday!

  3. I just wanted to give you a hug. I went through unexplained secondary IF. It took us 18 months and finally IVF ti give us our beautiful boy. IF is so hard and it was very hard the second time because I had no problem getting pregnant the first time. Clomid made me a raging biotch, hope its treating you better! Acupuncture was wonderful during all my IF struggles too. Praying for a positive test soon!

  5. I have totally been there. I had to switch dr's because my first one refused to listen to what I was saying. Very frustrating. Add clomid, extra hormones and just being a mom/wife = pretty much crazy town! Praying for good news soon. I had to do 150mg Clomid and progesterone shots to get my critter, but Id do it all again because he is an angel baby!!!

  6. I'm sending all my fertile vibes your way! Here's hoping that the progesterone does the trick.

The cookie party looks like it was a blast. Those little girls are just the cutest and I love seeing them grow up in pictures.

  9. Check out Subfertile Frugalista's blog. She has PCOS and had trouble conceiving. She posted about a low amylose diet that her doctor put her on and she got pregnant fairly soon after starting the diet.

  10. Hi, just started to follow your blog. I highly recommend a book called Hannah's Hope by Jennifer Saake, it was encouraging to me when dealing with 'non baby' baby efforts. Best of luck!

  13. I love you girlie!!! I wanna know what the sonographer says when your keeking in the sono room. Haha!!! Hopefully the new meds will help!! I feel your pain. Honestly, I always felt like people "had it worse" and then I realized that my situation is just as dire to me and theirs is to them. It is perspective, but no one can blame you for being upset and frustrated. It's the most difficult thing I've ever endured.

  15. I hope you can get pregnant soon! We're trying too and it can be frustrating, especially knowing we know it all works since we both have a kid! However, you're right about being thankful for what we do have and that there are women (and men) out there trying to have babies that can't. My cousin is one and she would make the best mom in the world but isn't having any luck.

  16. Sending prayers that the progesterone will be the answer for you. I know exactly what you are going through. I went through 6 IVF's. I have 4 beautiful boys to show for all my pain and suffering. An 11 yr old and 6 yr old triplets.

  19. We tried for 3 years before having my daughter we were so LUCKY to have finally had her. But instead of clomid for my PCOS the dr put me on Letrozole (Femara). Have they tried that with you yet?
