Top 2 Tuesday again at The Undomestic Momma. This weeks topic is Splurges!

In my past life (that would be life before baby of course) my splurges would be mainly for me. Clothes, spa treatments, and cute shabby chic items for my house.  Things have sure changed for me. When I saw the topic for this week I really had to think about what things I do splurge on now.  I still buy clothing for myself, but usually only things I need from either gaining and now losing the baby weight.  I still get pedi's but instead of every 2 weeks I go every 3 months. That's life as a Mom and also the fact that we are no longer DINK's. *double income no kids.*

Now when I splurge it's usually for my sweet little Miss Madison.

I just COULD NOT pass up these cute boots, on sale!, for next winter.

Now, I still buy shoes for me, but Miss M's were more expensive. These are soooo comfortable and just 25 bucks at DSW.

I love a cute baby outfit this one is from Baby Gap.

All those cute baby outfits lead to needing some of these. Have you tried these? Freaking awesome!

2 extra large bags = 6 plastic bins of clothes! So much easier to store!  Now comes the confession.....this is only 0-6 months. Yikes! Lets say she keeps this up that's 12 bins of clothes a year.  I think we I need to cut back on the retail therapy around here :)

  1. I don't think you suffer too much, Megan, I do think you're still spoiled!

  2. Oh, but wonderful hand me downs for the next daughter! Trust me, after raising three daughters, this is just a drop in the bucket compared to the "splurges" that are still to come :)

  3. I'm with you I love retail therapy but I love it for my monkey so much more than for myself! They are just more fun to shop for!

  4. I am totally with you. I tend to splurge too much on clothes for my son.

  5. Space bags are the BEST! I use them every time I move because they save so much room!

  6. Resisting baby clothes can be hard. I usually go to consignment places or hit the clearance rack so I never feel that bad about it, though.

Loooveeee Target though, sometimes you can get some great deals on super cute stuff.

Try being a single mom, it is just that much harder to EVER get to do anything for yourself. I bought myself 2 pairs of jeans and 2 tops over this past YEAR, and I still feel guilty for spending the money, lol.

Thank goodness for Grandmas or my poor baby would have much less clothes.

  7. your little girl is SO adorable!! :-)

  8. Love the flip flops! I need to get some of those space bags because we have plastic totes everywhere!

  9. Oh my goodness I am in love with your flip flops, tooo cute!

  10. L-O-V-E those flip flops!!! Wait til there are 2 girls, I buy way too many clothes for them. My latest splurge on myself has been a couple of dresses for school and this summer.

I have tried those bags and the air comes out of them and they fluff back up!!!

Make my day and leave me a love note!
